Teressena’s Visionary art

Teressena Bakens, a visionary artist and intuitive, is the creator and illustrator of “The Fifth” tarot deck. Much of the imagery in the cards has come through her dreams and meditations. Her drawings for the cards radiate with an energy and light that awakens one’s inner knowing and wisdom of the sacred. In addition to giving Tarot Readings, Teressena works as a spiritual midwife, helping people heal and transform through shamanic ceremony. She facilitates workshops on the Goddess & the Divine Feminine and has been a keynote speaker and presenter at several women’s conferences. Her art has been exhibited in the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico. Most recently she has written her first book, entitled “Peace Moon”, a woman’s journey of the self to the Self. Teressena has a B.F.A. and background in public relations.

At the moment Teressena is working on a series of Goddess paintings, that delve deeper in the universal consciousness of the divine feminine and the mysteries of the sacred. The images and symbols contained in the paintings elicit a rememberance of the mother and the motherland of Mu going beyond myth into a profound inner knowing.
